Tyler's New Toothbrush

I bought Tyler a $9 electric Diego toothbrush yesterday as a reward for his good behavior. He was excited about his new toothbrush, so I took it out of the package to let him hold it on the way home. He immediately turned it on, and as I was driving home, I thought what a great mother I was for buying my son a reward that made him want to brush his teeth. We were almost home, and he announced, "Hey mommy! Look at my shoes. I got almost all of the mud off". Turns out he hadn't been practicing good dental hygiene at all. He'd been using the brush to scrub the bottom of his disgusting shoes.

Colin's Belly Pic

I found several pictures from my pregnancy with Colin today. This was the only one that was fit to share. I'm pretty sure you could use the rest of them to encourage teenagers to practice abstinence.

Belly Love

Tyler is obsessed with my belly! Although I seem to remember another little boy being obsessed with my belly when he had a little brother in there.

Tyler

Here is a sneak peek of the amazing pictures I had made yesterday at Elle Marie Photos.  A few weeks back a friend of a friend emailed me and asked if I would be willing to bring the boys in to model for her new studio.  I had been drooling over the pictures she had taken for a friend, so it was an opportunity I couldn't pass up.  Here are a few preview shots she just posted on her blog.  I can't wait to see the rest!  I think she really captured the boys and their personalities well.

At the Cabbage Patch

My mom and I took the boys to Babyland General to help Tyler better understand what it would be like when baby Annabelle is born.  Colin told me that he didn't need to see what it would be like because he's already done it before.  It was a free tour, and the boys had a blast.  Tyler brought along his baby Fred.  The boys got to take part in a Cabbage Patch birth, and Tyler even got to name the new baby girl.  He named her baby Annabelle, and he was the first visitor who got to hold her.  We really wanted to adopt her, but for $225, we decided to let someone else have that honor!
